Iraqi Army, Kudish forces to liberate Mosul with joint efforts

The Iraqi Armed Forces and the Peshmerga Forces have agreed on a military plan and the role of each of the sides

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The Iraqi Armed Forces and the Peshmerga Forces have agreed on the plan of the liberation of the city of Mosul, located in the north of the country, from the ISIS terrorist group, the France24 TV-channel reported, citing head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani.

“Commanders of the Peshmerga and the Iraqi Army have conducted a series of meetings. They agreed on a military plan and the role of each of the sides,” the TV-channel quoted the words of Barzani. According to the politician, the city can be liberated by the end of the year.
